Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which Fincept Corporation ("we," "our," or "us") handles refunds and cancellations for our paid API subscription plans and services.

Note: FinceptTerminal desktop application is FREE and open-source. This policy applies only to paid API subscription plans.

2. API Subscription Plans

We offer the following paid API subscription plans:

  • Starter Plan: ₹1,800/month - 10,000 API calls
  • Professional Plan: ₹4,410/month - 50,000 API calls
  • Enterprise Plan: ₹8,910/month - 200,000 API calls
  • Unlimited Plan: ₹17,910/month - Unlimited API calls

3. Refund Eligibility

3.1 Full Refund Eligible (Within 7 Days)

You are eligible for a full refund if:

  • You request a refund within 7 days of purchase
  • You have used less than 10% of your monthly API quota
  • This is your first refund request for this subscription
  • The service was unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours

3.2 Partial Refund Eligible (8-30 Days)

A prorated refund may be issued if:

  • You request within 8-30 days of purchase
  • You have used less than 50% of your monthly API quota
  • Technical issues on our end prevented service usage

3.3 Not Eligible for Refund

Refunds will NOT be issued if:

  • More than 30 days have passed since purchase
  • You have consumed more than 50% of your API quota
  • Your account was terminated for policy violations
  • You have previously received a refund for the same subscription
  • The request is for promotional or discounted plans (unless defective)

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time through:

  • Your account dashboard at fincept.in/login
  • Contacting support at support@fincept.in

4.2 Cancellation Terms

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • You will retain access until the billing period ends
  • No partial refunds for unused days in the current billing period
  • Your API key will be deactivated after the billing period ends
  • Data associated with your account will be retained for 30 days

4.3 Immediate Cancellation

If you wish to cancel immediately and stop all services:

  • Contact support with your request
  • Your API access will be terminated immediately
  • Refund eligibility as per Section 3 applies

5. Refund Process

5.1 How to Request a Refund

  1. Email refunds@fincept.in with subject "Refund Request"
  2. Include your registered email address
  3. Provide your transaction ID or order number
  4. State the reason for your refund request

5.2 Processing Time

  • Review: 2-3 business days
  • Approval notification: Via email
  • Refund processing: 5-7 business days after approval
  • Bank credit: 3-10 business days (depends on your bank)

5.3 Refund Method

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Card: Credited to the same card
  • UPI: Credited to linked bank account
  • Net Banking: Credited to the same bank account
  • Wallet: Credited to the same wallet

6. Service Credits

In lieu of refunds, we may offer service credits for:

  • Service outages or performance issues
  • Feature unavailability
  • As goodwill gestures

Service credits are valid for 12 months and are non-transferable.

7. Plan Downgrades

If you wish to downgrade your plan:

  • The change takes effect in the next billing cycle
  • No prorated credits for the current period
  • Unused API calls do not roll over
  • Features exclusive to higher tiers will be disabled

8. Disputes

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision:

  1. Email disputes@fincept.in within 15 days
  2. Include all relevant documentation
  3. Our team will review and respond within 7 business days
